University of Arizona has dynamic maps, where you can set the global sea level and see what parts of the world would be underwater, once the polar ice caps have melted to that point.
That Zombie poem is fantastic!

My little sister wrote this poem and I thought it was pretty rad. Also, I just got into the Masters of applied anthropology program at the University of Maryland. Exciting!
Zombie MAN!
if a zombie was a superhero
he would not be able
to tell the difference between the
good guys and the bad
he would eat the brains of the people
he saved
he would not be able to fly
or have a cape
he would have to constantly
stop and pick up
the body parts that inevitably fall off
while he fought the crime he perceived to exist
if a zombie was a superhero
he would be able to make more zombie superheros
but what if
the zombie turned out to be a supervillian
who confused helping people with eating brains
and causing mayhem wherever he went
the zombie man of mayhem?
or the zombie man of love.
Basically a bunch of strung together 80's car commercials that show the Isuzu Gemini zipping around and flying through the air. Some really (unbelievably?) good driving though.

the npr preview is pretty fantastic as well
