I think i figured out the problem to last nights bacon/asparagus/mozarella concoction... in order to do this combo properly, the moz. would have to be added later. It has too much moisture to allow the bacon to properly cook. Now why didn't I think of that last night?
The suggestion, unwrap the ones we have in the fridge, put the cheese and asparagus on slices of the ciabatta bread, fry the bacon, and then top it off. That should yield significantly doper results.

Nike appearently donated time to help Somali girls in UN Refugee camps in Kenya design a hijab to play sports in. They designed serval versions with the girls and the community got to vote on the results. Nike will be donating material for "serveral hundred" uniforms, according to an executive, but this struck me as cool:
The Nike designers have already taught some of the girls how to sew the outfits themselves using locally produced fabric.
